On Saturday 8 July, the Club was invited to attend Westlands Farm Shop annual Food Fare at their farm in Shedfield. Fifteen local Club members attended exhibiting their tractors. Unfortunately, the weather was not kind to us with rain and thunder being forecast! For the first hour or so, we spent sheltering from the rain under the hastily erected gazebo and tent, catching up on any gossip! Eventually, the rain stopped and the sun came out and the Food Fare continued as anticipated with an endless stream of families with children, viewing and admiring our exhibits. Everyone agreed that the new Club banners on display were an impressive sight, creating a lot of inquisitive interest from members of the public into the Club’s history and future events, such as Tracks Across the Field. The event was well supported and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you once again to the Collett family at Westlands Farm Shop for inviting us and we look forward to attending again in 2024!
